Carl Creel better known as Absorbing Man is a supervillain, an enemy of the Avengers and a member of C.R.A.S.H.
History
Small Time Heroes
Absorbing Man attacks a S.H.I.E.L.D. convoy to spring his girlfriend Titania. When fighting Iron Man, Thor, and Hawkeye, Absorbing Man manages to absorb the properties of Mjolnir. Upon Thor throwing Absorbing Man, Iron Man uses a special gravity device to trap Absorbing Man.
The Citadel
Captain America and Iron Man are captured by the Beyonder and the villain team he has assembled from Absorbing Man, Ares, Crimson Widow, and MODOK. While Captain America works to evade the villains in Beyonder's lair, Iron Man is shown by Beyonder the truth of his experiment.
