"Avengers Underground" is the 24th episode of the second season of Avengers Assemble.
Synopsis[]
The Squadron Supreme has taken over Earth, where they managed to thwart the Atlanteans on Attuma's side, shackle Red Hulk, trap Doctor Strange in a special trap, and keep Spider-Man occupied with one of their robots. Unbeknownst to the Squadron Supreme and the rest of the world, the Avengers are in hiding and working on a plan to save the planet and stop the Squadron Supreme once and for all. The Avengers pull a surprise attack on Squadron Supreme that not even Nighthawk is prepared for. In desperation, as part of his contingency plan, Nighthawk has Hyperion absorb Nuke's powers and orders him to destroy the planet by blowing up its core.

- In the end of this episode, it's revealed that Nick Fury had the entire Squadron Supreme imprisoned in a new wing at the vault and had them separated.
- Red Hulk and Spider-Man made both cameos in this episode, where Red Hulk is from "Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.", and Spider-Man from "Ultimate Spider-Man." These are the two other series that Disney XD programs next to Avengers Assemble.
