Galactus is a cosmic entity that consumes planets to sustain his life force. He is an enemy of the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Agents of SMASH.
History[]
Personality and Traits[]
Galactus is a being of pure cosmic energy. He is among the most ruthless and dangerous enemies the Avengers have ever faced, however, what separates him from the rest of their enemies is that he is not motivated by greed or power, but only an insatiable hunger and need to survive by destroying planets and then feeding off them.
Galactus is arrogant at times; he is completely aware of his abilities, but instead of actually confronting an enemy head-on, he would rather let one of his Herald's to fight his battles and locate planets for him to feed.
Galactus' hunger can also make him easily manipulated, as when Iron Man became his new Herald and directed him to a planet with a nuclear core. Galactus doesn't care for his Heralds and treats them as slaves, if there was any chance he to get a more powerful one Galactus would simply throw them aside and strip them of power.
