Melissa Gold, also known as Songbird and Screaming Mimi, is a member of the Avengers, and a former member of the Masters of Evil, the Thunderbolts, and the Mighty Avengers.

Appearance[]
Songbird wears a dark grey suit with a lighter shade of grey. She has a gold neckbrace which has a fuchsia stone, the source of her sound powers. Melissa also has two gold bracelets matching the appearance of her neck brace. She has a gold belt, and a pink circle with the Thunderbolts logo. She has long white hair reaching her waist with fuchsia tips.
As Screaming Mimi, Melissa has messy grey hair and white makeup that has black triangles at her eyes. She also has green gloves, a dark green outfit with a light green spiky turtleneck, and green shoes.

Acoustikinesis: Melissa can generate powerful sonic blasts, sonic force-fields, and can even create solid objects created from sound including battering rams, pincers and platforms.

- Sonic Screams: Songbird has Sonic screams, which is the ability to create a very loud but powerful shriek, a scream of high amplitude which can cause some damage. This is shown in her other alter-ego, Screaming Mimi(member of Masters Of Evil)
- Sonic Waves: Melissa can create powerful sonic waves
- Sonic Burst Projection: She especially can project and generate sonic bursts to her opponents.
- Echolocation: Echolocation allows Songbird to detect the location of an object in the environment she is in, using reflected sound waves.
- Hypnotic Song: Songbird can also make a song that hypnotizes her opponents or enemies. The song has an alluring tune that can cloud a foe's focus and cause her enemy to get into a trance.
- Sonic Constructs: Melissa can create weapons out of sound energy such as a hand, forcefields, Chains, a goat, and much more. She even made a rope after her sonic blast bounced off Cap's shield.
- Sonic Force-Fields: Songbird can also create powerful forcefields from sound energy to protect her and her team from oncoming attacks.
- Sonic Wings: By creating wings out of pure sound energy, Melissa can propel herself through the air at great speeds.

- During the battle of the Avengers Vs the Mighty Avengers, Songbird is shown to be afraid of Thor and wants someone else to tackle him. Thor later strikes her wings with his lightning
- This is Melissa Gold/Songbird's second animated appearance. Her first was in Super Hero Squad Show.
- She doesn't appear later on with the other Mighty Avengers. Melissa is also the only member of her team, the Thunderbolts to become an Avenger
