Season One is the first season of the series Avengers Assemble.

Season 1[]

Falcon is the newest member of the Avengers. Falcon is the main eyes and ears of the viewer as he fights evil and saves the world with his teammates. The Avengers team consist of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye.

Synopsis[]

As a result of the imperfect Super Soldier Serum in his body, the Red Skull is dying so he allies with M.O.D.O.K. and A.I.M. to capture Captain America and convert his mind to his body. They are foiled when Iron Man reassembles the Avengers and save Captain America, so Red Skull steals Iron-Man's armor instead and becomes the Iron Skull. He then attacks the Avengers Mansion, leading to its destruction. While the Avengers relocate to Stark Tower, Iron Skull and M.O.D.O.K. begin hiring villains for the Cabal.

The newest member of the team Falcon struggles to fit in until he aids the team in defeating the Space Phantoms. Doctor Doom refuses Skull's offer for the Cabal and uses a weapon of the Rock Troll Ulik to unleash the Midgard Serpent, but he and the creature end up being sent into a portal to the Underworld. The vampire king Dracula bites Black Widow, slowly turning her into a vampire. The Avengers invade his kingdom and battle him and his army until he is defeated by a transfusion of gamma radiation, so he joins the Cabal. Justin Hammer creates the powerful Super-Adaptoid and attacks the Avengers with it to impress Iron-Skull to join the Cabal; he is defeated but Skull takes the android. An alien being known as Hyperion aids the Avengers in saving the Earth from meteors, but realize he is a ruthless villain who seeks to dominate the planet and imprison him. Attuma invades New York with a fleet of Atlanteans and defeats the Hulk in hand-to-hand combat, but the latter becomes angrier, increasing his strength and causing him to win so Attuma joins the Cabal. Doctor Doom manipulates the Destroyer armor from the realm of the Rock Trolls and attacks the Avengers, so they reluctantly enlist the help of Loki and confront him. They convince him to deactivate the armor but Loki betrays them and assumes control, only to be defeated and left at the mercy of the realm's inhabitants. Iron-Skull unleashes a gamma virus at Avengers Tower, causing the Avengers to turn into gamma monsters but Hulk and Black Widow manage to cure them. The Avengers help the powerful but eccentric being known as Impossible Man by defeating a Chitauri fleet chasing him. Iron-Man and Captain America disguise themselves and infiltrate the Iron-Skull's submarine, where they confront the Cabal; they manage to escape the submarine before it is consumed by the raging seas. After a brief visit to Asgard, Thor returns to Earth and finds it under the control of Doctor Doom, who has travelled back in time and made it so the Avengers were never formed. As a result, Thor teams up with the Defenders, overthrows Doom and restores time back to normal. Iron Skull enhances his armor with his JARVIS and attacks the Tri-Carrier with the Cabal and confronts the Avengers. While they are defeated, Iron Skull breaks out Hyperion and has him join the Cabal. While in the Savage Land to see how long they can last without technology, Iron-Man, Captain America, Falcon and Hawkeye discover Justin Hammer mining for a Vibranium deposit in order to impress Iron Skull and join the Cabal so they enlist the help of a local Rock Tribe and defeat him. The alien known as Mojo abducts Hulk and Hawkeye for his international fighting show but when they refuse to fight he sends them back to Earth and attempts to destroy it, only to be stopped by the Avengers and their robot ally Torgo. The Avengers protect Doctor Doom from a Cabal attack while he is giving a United Nations speech, but realize he plans to steal their technology and brand him a criminal, forcing him to stay in his kingdom forever. Odin visits Earth and orders Thor to return to Asgard, but he is followed by the vengeful beast Mangog. After the Avengers aid him in defeated Mangog, Odin deems the team worthy of his son's presence. A powerful object known as the Tesseract crash lands on Earth, and the Avengers and Cabal battle for it. Eventually, the Cabal outsmart the Avengers and steal the object. A cosmic being known as Galactus attacks the Earth to devour it but is lead by Iron-Man to the unstable planet of the D'Bari, where the Avengers team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy and fight him until the planet explodes, defeating Galactus. When Iron-Man and Ant-Man are experimenting on Pym Particles, they get loose and the duo work together to get them back. Hawkeye's old team known as the Circus of Crime capture and brainwash the Avengers apart from Hawkeye, who works with former member Princess Python and saves his teammates.

Iron Skull builds a machine using the Tesseract and opens portals to other worlds for the Cabal to conquer, but the Avengers arrive and Iron-Man displays to the Cabal that Skull was attempting to destroy them. Red Skull then taps into the power of the Tesseract and becomes the Cosmic Skull, beginning a rampage of domination around the globe. The Avengers and Cabal form an uneasy alliance and distract Skull long enough for Iron-Man and M.O.D.O.K. to strip him of his power. He is then defeated by Thor and sent through a portal into space, where he delivers the Tesseract to his true master Thanos.
