Howard Stark was the founder and CEO of Stark Industries. He was also father to Tony Stark and an old friend to Captain America.
Biography[]
Howard Stark is mentioned to have built Arsenal as his greatest invention. In "Thanos Rising," Howard Stark was seen in a hologram transmission asking if he would enjoy Arsenal since he created Arsenal to protect him. Howard Stark's hologram states that Arsenal can absorb anything into an alternate dimension with a chance to self-destruct. However, some of Howard Stark's hologram messages have corrupted over the time as Arsenal revealed to Iron Man. In the episode "New Year's Resolution," Howard and Peggy had just finished apprehending Doctor Faustus in 1949 on New Year's Eve when they were attacked by robots posing as Hydra agents, which brought them to the present. Kang the Conqueror wants to eliminate Stark so that neither Iron Man nor Arno Stark will exist. During the confrontation, Howard uses one of his son's armors to fight Kang. Captain America and Iron Man defeat Kang and help send Howard and Peggy (as well as Faustus) back to 1949.
